Tamara Stone is an experienced Interior Designer with focus on creating balance and harmony in the home or given space. As a Certified Practitioner of Interior Alignment, Tamara creates amazing spaces for both residential and commercial clients using classic design techniques, incorporating color, texture, balance and feng shui principles.

Born in Detroit, Michigan Tamara studied Dance in New York City and California and later earned a degree in Dance from Wayne State University in Detroit. She taught Dance at a Private School in Grosse Point, Michigan for several years.

While embracing a passion for design, art, and clothing, Tamara launched "Tamara Wear" in 1995. The business showcased her signature line of custom designed clothing and resort wear. The business began as Tamara painted choreography notes and custom designs on T-Shirts. This led to custom hand painted fabrics and hand painted custom tile. After a five year stint in the apparel business, Tamara worked as an interior designer for one of Metro Detroit's most reputable Interior Design firms.

Tamara launched her own interior design company in 1997 and continues to grow and expand her depth of talent and design for her clients.

Tamara Stone Interiors has completed over three dozen model homes for builders and developers. The style is always fresh, open and inviting offering something for everyone.

Tamara also worked as a stylist for professional photographers and producers in the TV and advertising industry for several years creating exciting vignettes with color and balance.

She is also involved in television and radio commercials for a Metro Detroit-based window treatment company where she is the companies head designer and commercial spokesperson for a multi-state region. Tamara has also guest hosted on a local radio show.

Tamara is a Certified Feng Shui Practitioner and a member of the International Feng Shui Guild.

Her other interests include painting (Tamara is a talented artist), natural remedies and holistic heath techniques, Reiki, use of essential oils, spiritual-based reading, mediation and yoga, and just having fun!

She currently resides in the Metro Detroit with her husband, children, and two cats.
